Responsibility IV: Conduct evaluation and research related to health education
In developing my skills regarding evaluation and research, my writing skills have been an asset to me when attempting to communicate evaluation results and translate crucial information and collected data into easily understood terms. When researching human subjects, specific ethical boundaries are necessary, in order to comply with research regulations, I have completed the Collaborative Institutional training initiative(CITI) human research curriculum.
I participated in exercises in developing evaluation tools such as using a likert scale, using nominal process and developing meaningful, acceptable pre and post test questions. In evaluating my presentations' effectiveness for cyber bullying, global health awareness, STI prevention, and HIV/AIDS awareness, I developed specific but ethical questions that would express the level of learning and acceptance that was produced from my programs. I also effectively interpreted and discussed these results at length.
